Flasher relay help needed...

Hi all,

I have just purchased a rear LED light to do a conversion, I've bought the flasher relay and new LED indicators. The brake light works fine now but the indicators only flash very very dimly when the relay is in place. If I take it off they flash too fast but at the correct brightness.

Does anyone have any idea as to what the problem may be? I'm baffled.

Thanks
JBR

I know this may sound like a stupid question but are you removing the old flasher unit and fitting the new unit or are you hooking them up together somehow? What make is the new flasher unit?

Hi thanks for replying.

I am removing the old (original) unit and replacing it with the new one which is a Relay make. Model number is WRELED03. That is all the box says.

I have't connected them up together at all.
