Taller screens v spoilers

I was going to change the xt but I'll now be keeping it for a bit longer. I was out this evening in the bike and I'm getting quite a bit of buffeting unless I drop my head a few inches.
So what is everyone using? I like the look of the standard and that's why I haven't looked at changing before but it's so much quieter if I tuck in.
Cheers

drop me a line if you're interested in a Givi high screen. I was going to walk it on Ebay.

I experimented by gaff taping a piece of perspex on to my standard screen. ..tried all sorts of heights. Nothing really worked for me until I reduced my standard screen by about 3 inches. ....NO buffeting! But everyone is different. ...trial and error I guess. Steve

Funny you should mention shortening the screen, I came across this last night.....

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/162676976989

When I bought the bike it came with a tall screen but it had one of the bottom corners broken off so I never rode with it however it's a perfect candidate for cutting.
I was going to throw it on and see if it makes any difference with the added height. I've no idea of the make though.

Cheers jacques, I'll keep that in mind, but I wouldn't know what to offer you
