high front fender

hi guys, i am just wondering about my high front mud guard. i am off on a european tour next week and i have a long slog on the motorways to frankfurt on day one. im just wondering, do you think that the high mudguard will affect the bike at higher speeds (70-75mph). i just wonder if it makes the front lighter or more vibey?

Also whilst im here, any other tips to survive the long boring part? im looking forward to the rest of the trip in eastern and southern Europe but im dreading the first day slog!!

many thanks

Main thing for a long ride is a comfy seat!.....on the mudguard question, I covered many thousands of miles on my XR650R with a high mudguard with no issues. ...Steve

I can't take it for a ride yet as the gearbox blew up a few weeks ago (dreaded 3rd gear on a 2009 bile issue) and it's still being repaired. I won't be getting it back until few days before I go. Thanks for the replies though. I just have the standard seat. I'll look into sheepskin/airhawk etc...
