It was time for a trip, long overdue
Took a quick decision on the Friday afternoon, Saturday out, Sunday back
Ouberg pass close to Sutherland, never ridden before, so, it�s time
A friend and I and off we went

My dear friend lost it here and passed away two and a half years ago

Nice old farmhouse, quite comfortable, good overnight accomodation

Still early and the wind is chilly and strong



I have never experienced such a heavy wind, almost blown us from our bikes, had to hold it steady a couple of times, was not nice at all



Slowly creeping down the pass, the wind was heavy

Once out of the wind, it was nice weather and the ride was on

Very dry conditions, the drought is quite severe

After lunch, time to head home
