Ouberg pass
It was time for a trip, long overdue
Took a quick decision on the Friday afternoon, Saturday out, Sunday back Ouberg pass close to Sutherland, never ridden before, so, it�s time A friend and I and off we went Matjiesfontein always a stop over Verlatekloof pass Time for a rest and a geocache |

Used to be a old tollhouse
My dear friend lost it here and passed away two and a half years ago Sutherland Turn off to accomodation Nice old farmhouse, quite comfortable, good overnight accomodation Relaxing Early rise and out |

That�s what we came for
Another geocache and on with the trip Still early and the wind is chilly and strong I have never experienced such a heavy wind, almost blown us from our bikes, had to hold it steady a couple of times, was not nice at all Slowly creeping down the pass, the wind was heavy |

Once out of the wind, it was nice weather and the ride was on
Windless and beautiful Very dry conditions, the drought is quite severe This roadsign have seen better times |

On the way to Tankwa
Tankwa waterfalls, no water now, but must surely be awesome with water flowing And another geocache Gravel highways Back in the Western Cape province |

Tankwa National Park, dry
Gemsbok, very thin, the drought is taking it�s toll R355, longest dirt road, 250 km, on the way to the padstal (farmstall) After lunch, time to head home 800 km over two days, awesome ride, batteries fully charged |
