I'm from Portugal and I'm about to start a world tour on my bike, which is not an XT ahah

However, my girlfriend that is now taking her drivers license, will be joining me on this 100.000km adventure, and the bike we choose for her needed to be sturdy, fun, reliable and had to be able to take on the world pain-free! All of this, and teach my girlfriend how to drive, as this will be her first bike and the first km's on two wheels. Other than the occasional rental electrical scootering around town.

Although I trust the XT660R as is - I had 8 XT600E on my old company doing off road tours, so I'm no stranger to the model - I don't feel any bike is ready for a beating like this stock. Changes had to happen, and of course, only one crowd I could turn to!

With one video weekly, 2017 will see the preparation of the expedition, from bike building to visas and tests, March 2018 sees the expedition start. I have not yet announced that she will join me, as we are still debating in which molds she will, so the XT is not yet on the channel. However, footage of it is being saved until the time I can talk about it there

I'm sad I don't have any pictures of the bike with me here, but I will show them to you shortly enough!
