going on a trip tomorrow !
Alright;
So I'm going to a german region called the mosel. Roadtrip only. I got my GIVI hard travel bags suited I must see weight is as good as equal. I got a tire pump with me for my12V I have nothing for when I have a flat tire ( order to late ... ) Question is: 1. whats a must take of extra equipment? I got chain grease , some tools for the back wheel and yamaha set with me. 2. I am fully loaded with my girlfriend on the back and the 2 bags. What is a recommended tire pressure for this ? Currentily back tire 2.5 bar'ish front tire is 2 bar I drive with Bridgestone BW 501/502 and I can tell they are really good tires way better then the crappy TKC I just took off ( read my backlog do not buy those !! ). thanks ! |

I have no experience with those sprays for tire repair, but I have one in my baggage. Hopefully I will stay without experience

Don't over -worry about punctures etc, take a can of tyre sealant just in case. 32 psi front 34 psi rear is a good guide with luggage . And in the Yamaha tool kit the spark plug socket is useless. ..you need to shorten it . Just enjoy your travels! Steve

I believe tyre weld and similar spray sealant only work tubeless.
Just carry a tube and some levers. Go over everything on the bike a week before you go and leave all the luggage on to get a feel of how it will be and what works/what doesn't. Have fun |
