Snorkel

Well thanks to Jon for the snorkel I have cut down the standard one.
Still running the standard filter, dna/k+n is next on the list, and haven't had a chance to try it out.

So this is like DNA stage 2 with the stage1 insert or bigger?

Neat cut job there

It looks more like the size of the DNA stage 2 cover

The above opening plus DNA filter will need a fuel mod to enrich the mixture.

The stage 1.5 DNA cover looks like this (with the restrictor ring in place) and does not need a fuel mod, just CO adjustment

Cheers for the pics and info, yeah I'd certainly say looks closer to the stage 2.
Filter is next and I have a home made fuel mod, I'll give it a bash and if it's a no no ill get something sorted.
How do you adjust the co?
I tried to make it as neat a cut as possible to air has a good flow

Just a note of caution, the cut down cover has quite a bit of flexibility in it (unlike the DNA cover which is very stiff) and there is a potential that under stress ( a thumping single cylinder next to it) you could end up with small gaps where dirty air can pass, especially when the filter becomes less porous.

Make sure you seal it up with plenty of grease just in case

Thanks for the heads up, I'll get some grease around it before I take it a run again
