Extra fuse box....
I may have asked about this before. ..apologies if so! . I'm running out of space on my battery terminals. ..i know I can get a fuse box but is there a particularly good one to get.? And is it a simple case of connecting straight to the battery. ...? Steve

Best to get one that has a common input/feed to it. A lot of fuse boxes are just design for protecting separate circuits and have one in/one out for each fuseway. Best to get one that is designed for distribution.
These are cheap, compact and pretty good and they will fit in the space in the back of the tank where the useless OE toolkit normally resides... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/12V-24V-6-WAY-STANDARD-BLADE-FUSE-BOX-HOLDER-WITH-LED-FAILURE-WARNING-LIGHTS/321498832622 When fitting the ring terminal for the input with these you just need to make sure it is fully insulated with sleeving or heatshrink if mounting close to metal/ground source. |
