I tried to unscrew the fan to test it, but it's really hard to reach. My screwdriver cant reach it. I've seen in the DIAG mode 51 : Cooler fan is activated every 5 seconds. Tried to activate it but it dosen't work. So i guess it's the fan thats broken..

You don't need to unscrew the fan to test it, just unplug it and connect up to the terminals on the fan side.

There's a good chance you've guessed right if it doesn't cycle in diagnostic mode. Still worth testing the fan independently though.

At least you know what the problem is now. Hope everything returns to normal cooling-wise when you've had it fixed.

For the benefit of greatescape (and any others wanting to fit a temperature gauge) - here are some photos of the installation/location of the T-adapter/sender and where/how I chose to mount the gauge itself. Although this is a Z, the principal would be axactly the same for an X or R.

18mm KOSO 1/8NPT adapter. You need to carefully strip back the protective rubber sleeving on the top radiator hose before cutting. Cut out the same length that corresponds to the width of the exposed part of the T-piece.

The wiring resting on top of the hose is for the Dynojet O2 Optimizer, nothing to do with the sender. The Sender has just a single wire that goes to the dash display unit.

I have the gauge mounted on an aluminium panel below the dash (as I had a Scottoiler e-System display, phone charger outlet and an idiot light to also mount). The gauge needs a 12V ignition switched supply which can come straight of the spare connector under the dash cover on a Tenere.
