Yamaha considers existing mid-size adventure bikes unsuited to off-road riding and the Yamaha T7 Concept is a fully -functioning prototype developed to achieve a perfect balance between road and off-road capability.

Yamaha’s engineers, designers and product planners from the Official Rally Team in France, the R&D in Italy and GK Design in the Netherlands are the ones behind the development of the new T7 concept set to become a production model.

According to the latest issue of ADB (Issue 448 - January 2017) it's not due for production until 2018 and local arrival could be further delayed as its still up in the air if the Oz version will be the 689cc 75hp power plant to push the 180kg weight or a 655cc LAM's version (lets hope not)
