Hello. I'm Jack, from London England, I've never owned an XT660. My brother had at least have a dozen off them, and a Tenere, my uncle had one too but stacked it offroad, ending his offroad riding days.
I had a Pegaso 660 with the Yamaha engine and it was a sack of crap. It was literally the worst-made bike I've ever owned and it fell to pieces around me. Shame, I'd owned 3 of the Rotax ones and loved them all. It wasn't the engine, I liked the way it performed, it just didn't perform often enough.
I currently own a BMW G650x and she's in semi-retirement after an electrical fire.
I'm currently living in Phnom Penh, Cambodia and ride out here on the Beemer, hence feeling like she's earned a rest.
I've got an SV1000 and it's a lousy bike in this town and was looking for something smaller and lighter for the daily grind that also makes me smile. The SV is a quick bike but it just doesn't float my boat, I can’t say why, I'm just not in love with it, which is sad since it's probably one of the fastest bikes in the country.
I thought about getting something else and came across the only MT03 in the country. I'm here looking for advice and tips and trying to decide if she's the next one for me. I hope she is, I've always had a soft spot for them and think it would really be ideal.
