XT660X fork crack
Hi there. I might have cracked fork (right) on my XTX 2004.
It has been "repaired" or hidden by previous owner by liquid metal?maybe.. its grey and very hard. Is there any chance for me for repairing this properly by someone or buying new one? What can I do other than looking for second-hand one. Because its very rare in my country |

I assume its cracked around the axle pinch bolt? If it is, it is quite common as a result of over-tightening the bolts. Have a read of these threads which cover most of the options available to you:

You can have them welded up, obviously depending on the size shape and condition of the crack. I would only consider this option if you get it professionally done. Otherwise you could either source secondhand or new legs. New parts are still available and will be for some years yet as all manufacturers have agreed to (under EU directive) to supply OEM parts for vehicles that have been out of production for up to 15 years.
