Having trouble with my 05 xtx, it started with the bike not starting at work one day, after attempting to bump start it, it started fine on the button.
A week or two later the same thing happened again but this time i noticed a fault code come up which through the forum I have traced to be the crankshaft sensor. I've since had the alternator cover off and cleaned the sensor, check tightened the two bolts and had a multimeter on the loom all to no avail.
I've looked around for a new sensor but I'm assuming it is all part of the stator loom. Has anyone else had this problem or have a part number for the sensor/stator as apart from used ones from Europe I am unable to find anything
