hashiru by polo exhaust

Now after riding my xt660r for a few weeks completely standard, I removed the airfilterbox snorkel and the bike rides more smootly.
The only thing I want so badly is a good exhaust on it because it is just to quiet for me.

Someone in my neighbourhood is selling a hashiru by polo exhaust for a xt660, but is this any good (sound, quality, does they have db-killers?)

Or the other possibility is that I can buy leovince x3 cans (from a ktm smc625, I think those are the same as for the xt660) and than buy laser pipes (from a xt660x) to connect the cans with the header pipes.
Why this combination? Well I do like the option with the leovince x3 cans that I can choose which db-killer suits me best.

Yes the second option is a little bit diy but I think it is good doable, what do you think is the best option?
Bare in mind I choose for seconds hand exhaust just because I dont have the money to spend on a new exhaust.

ps. sorry for my english, I'm not used to writing in english.

In my experience Leo Vince make excellent quality products and they fit great!!! I fitted just the 2 end cans so I have no idea about the laser pipes sorry.

yes I know thats why this is one of the options. But I'm curious if someone has any experience with the hashiru exhaust.
Because for me that is the cheapest solution and it comes with the connection pipes so I don't have to do any modifications to it.
But the only real wory I have is that it doesn't come with any db-killer so I can't change the sound if it is necessary.

In 8 years of owning an XT660 I have never heard of the make,if it's all about money wait till you can afford a known pipe it will save lots of hassle in the long run because the like of Arrow/Leo Vinci/Akra are known quantities.

I know it is an exhaust that is made in germany I think. The person that has the exhaust bought it in germany and lives in belgium.
And you are right! but there is a huge difference in price, I can buy the hashiru exhaust for 180euro and a new exhaust cost 600euro. For that price difference I rater invest in more important things in life.
Unfortunately here in belgium they don't sell good brand exhaust for the xt660 secondhand.

Well personally I would only purchase an exhaust new. Cos that way you can return it if there are problems and it comes with all of the fitting kit plus instructions. I have bought Leo Vince for my XT660 (twice, two bikes) and found them excellent, and also for my XJR1300. A full kit OR just rear cans are sure to fit. If instead you wanna try and put together 2 different manufacturers bits then who knows what may happen......good luck!!!

Yo you guys!!

MTC makes excellent exhausts British Built, and BS Stamped from very cheap stainless steel round all the way to carbon and titanium to suit every pocket.

Have a look at this link and rest assured these cans have a 100% positive feedback from ALL our members that bought them, the prices also include a 10% discount only for our forum members.

I am not concerned about the state of the exhaust because they are so good as new, both I think 1.5years old and so good as non scuf marks or wear on them.
The hashiru exhaust comes with every part for it (ready to put on the bike).
The leovince cans comes also with every part also with all the db-killers, only no connection pipes.

Yes when you put 2 things together there is always a risk, but there are people that put raptor headers on there xt660, so I dont see the probleme to put 2 existing parts for the xt660 together even when it is from 2 different manufacturers.
(please correct me if I'm wrong, I'm here to learn so every tip is welcome!)

The only probleme I see is that the laser cans are I think longer than the leovince so I think when I put the leovince cans on the laser connection pipes the end of the cans are going to com lower and doesn't look good.

But every first diy project that is never be done is a risk! But when it is done properly it is a one of a kind.
That is my idea of it, please post what you think.

Among other things I run a K1200 I'll cut the story as short as possible but I actually have had 3 different pipes on it a Remus/Laser and an Akrapovic and what I learned even after all these years not all pipes run the same they were actually miles apart in how they altered the character of the engine.

Have a look at the steady stream of bikes that appear on here that have all been the same route that's a named exhaust/filters/snorkel out and PC fitted now if your looking for the best results from your 660 that's the way you'll get it,now if folk can't afford such and at one time or another we have all been there then one has to settle for less it's just ironic that in the long term ownership of a bike the cheap ways always turns out to be the most expensive because you will end up replacing the original cheap options.

Keep stock till you can afford it,as for buying new? I do from time to time but most of the pipes I buy have been secondhand let someone else take the loss.
