New Levers For 2012 xt660r.

Hey!
Been looking at upgrading my stock levers to shorter 2-3 finger levers.

But my experience so far owning the 660r is that it is quite hard to find some aftermarket parts?
Some places state items only fit up to 2011 model and then they have no category for 2012 and newer.

So back to the levers=) I can find alot to the 660z but also found a post in the forum stating that the R levers and Z levers are not compatible.

Have any of you guys gotten new levers for the R and in that case what is your review of them/where did you get them( link? =))/and at what price.

Is there a good website where i can get info on compability on different parts for the R, thinking about upgrading more items as time goes by and can see the same problem arise there:/

Thanks in advance!
Rob

XT has quite a heavy clutch so short clutch lever might be a bit hard to pull but there is a clutch arm mod that would help...

I use these.....They do short & long levers...

indeed clutch is somewhat hard to pull but i was using only 3 fingers anyway.
very happy with these. the link above is expired but other suppliers do deliver them, just do a search.

You can get short levers off eBay for 15 a set. And they are fine for te xt660 I bought 2 sets about 5 weeks ago and put them on all my bikes never had a problem with them. Have them on my cbr 929 and my Fz1n and my 2 xt660. Just put in xt660 short levers and they all will come up. You can buy them in the uk for twice the price but they are the same levers from China. I know a company that brings them in puts them in a fancy box and adds a logo to the steam and charges 55 lol people think they are getting a better lever in it comes in a nice box with a logo on the steam and it comes from a uk seller ,Just buy them from China you will get them within 10 days, and 9 times out of 10 they are the same as you would get from uk

I recently bought these ones from ebay for a friend and myself:

https://www.ebay.nl/ulk/itm/121491101414

I got the longer levers on my xtz (then you have to buy the mt-03 version) and a friend got the short one on his xtx. They have a very nice finish and dont look cheap like, with all respect, the alibabaexpress levers. They are a bit on the expensive side but they are all worth it. Very good quality, feels good in de the hand and make your bike look alot better! The seller avdb-moto is a great guy. If you buy more pairs, you can message him so he can arrange for you a nice discount. He has also other colors by the way.

Thanks for the answers guys=)
Ordered the cheap ones from ali, dont think the hard pull will be an issue, tried 1-3 fingering the long levers with out issue.

And then i might upgrade to the more exspensive lever later, who knows=)

Also ordered some handguards while i was at ali, that place is dangerous!

It might pay to give the cable a lube while the lever is off to help things.
