help me out here..

Today I took possession of of two dna air filters. I have never followed the stage 1/2/3 thing mainly due to not fully understanding it but also the fact my bike runs great, but anyway, as chance would have it, someone local to me was selling these two.

The main air filter under the seat and the other one that goes on the side, I also have the ring cover thing that goes over the under seat filter.

So, is it just a case of installing both these filters and cover thing and be on my merry way or am I missing anything ??

I don't have a kev mod thing but I do have an 02 controller thing...

Over to the knowledgeable ones to help me out.....ayethangyew.

Ok thanks for that info, I have a follow up question however, my bike has always run great, like pretty fantastic with this o2 controller on and the foam air filter it has in at the moment, what benefit am I likely to notice if I then go ahead and fit these dna filters and kev mod ??

Even greater tractability low down + more power from mid to high rpm = greater spread of power/useable rev range =

Hi guys.
So I have Leo Vince pipes and a k&n air filter.
Should I also be running the fuel mod?

You'll be alright without it, just, but you won't be seeing any real benefit of running a K&N filter and pipes without a cat. You're effectively running an already lean running bike, even leaner. The ECU will compensate somewhat when in the closed loop, but that's only at low rpm and cruising on part throttle.

Fit a Kev mod and O2 controller and you will not only make the filter/pipes work for you, but you'll really notice the difference in how the bike pulls. No longer will it shudder and protest below 3000rpm and get weezy above 6000rpm. You'll get a better spread of useful power from 2000rpm to the red line - that's a useable rev range of 5000rpm, as opposed to the miserly stock bike's 3000rpm.

Oh yes - you won't regret it!

Yep. Half an hour for the fuel mod, and ten minutes for the O2 controller.

Read this and this.

Just send Kev a PM.

You can buy on ebay here, but if you buy them through the forum from Kev directly there are no ebay fees so they work out slightly cheaper.
