Visiting a mate.

Went to visit a work mate who is unfortunately in hospital after the the Truck we share rolled over on a roundabout recently. He's in good spirits considering his pelvis is broken in 2 places, collar bone has just been screwed back together & has burns on the shoulder from the seat belt. All he remembers is a 'Bang' a crack appearing in the windscreen & seeing the trailer wheels coming off the ground. Speed has been ruled out I believe.

100ks in to the 400km round trip heading towards a one horse town of Lowmead going to Bundaberg...

After seeing Pete I'd seen signs to a place with 'Mystery Craters' so curiosity got the better of me & I parted with 9 bucks to have a look...

Posted a picture so you can keep you 9 bucks for something more worth while.

They also promote a 'Shed full of interesting machinery...'

This is a 'Mobile Swing Saw' that's powered by a 500cc BSA engine, so I guess that's the interesting bit. Obviously built before Health & Safety spoiled the fun...

Then there was this old V-dub motor that could do with some specialist attention from our very own Kev before attempting to turn the handle....

Time for a bit more of the dirt roads via the Boyne Valley to get home. Now the Pirelli MT60's are well and truly scrubbed in. Enjoying them immensely. Cheers.

I've been watching an Ausie guy from Vic, Mark Victor, and his bike travels on you tube and his videos remind me of your pictures and that 'shed' is like something he camped in. He seems to be a really nice bloke too!

Just been watching that Russell Crowe lookalike doing a comparison on some different tyre inflating devices. He is a bit of a character isn't he. Mini compressors seem the way to go for side of the road inflation.
