43mm fork for XTR?

Hello,

can anyone tell me the opinion how the 43mm fork from ktm520 works in our XT660R?? I want to change my front suspension and i think about this fork. Why 43mm? Becouse the oryginal XT have 43mm too so i think it is enough for the soft off road riding.

Thx for all opinion

Cheers

The standard XT fork is a 43mm Telescopic fork (conventional style)

Do you mean fork or springs? The fork looks like an Up-side down style.

Are the KTM 520 forks up-side down or standard (telescopic) forks?
If they are up-side down, they wont fit, since the diameter which is defined is the "piston" (shiny part) that goes inside the damper.

EG. if usd they wont fit

Seems that you mean complete front end? Yes 43 mm will more enough but 48mm looks better.

Here is a pic on both. First a 43mm then 48mm.
