Kev Fuel Mod, Simple Question
I have a 2010 European spec XT660Z, and I'm not loving the bike's lack of low rev, smooth pulling power in higher gears. The bike is fitted with a single MTC tail pipe in place of the OEM tail pipes and cat. I want to fit a DNA stage 1 filter, and possibly stage 2 mod also, to smooth out the power range. Will a Kev Fuel Mod unit, in combination with the DNA filter achieve this goal? I'm not looking to squeeze max HP from the bike, just better "ride ability".
Thanks, Rich. |

If it’s more grunt low down and a smoother ride you want then you will see the biggest improvement with respect to this by fitting Kev’s O2 controller first. Kev’s fuelling mod will give a further improvement, and in conjunction with DNA filter(s) more power, but the it's the O2 controller that'll give you flexibility you'll need if you aren't interested in chasing horsepower.
Mind you Kev gives a discount if you buy both mods at the same time; something worth thinking about. Read this thread re: O2 controller. |
