Valve Clearances help

Hi guys

Well its that time of year again where the bikes in the garage and needing a service. This is my first time attempting to do the valve clearances and ive had a look around but cant seem to find a link to a step by step process of adjusting the valve clearances.

Ive looked at the service manual from Kev on my CD but it is to say the least quiet basic and this is a quiet high profile job ie get it wrong and it all goes pop

Can any one help?

I think this is probably the best write up/walk-through on the forum regarding valve clearance service. It'll save me explaining it all again anyway!

If anything isn't clear, or you need more info, then just ask.

That's the one Pleiades, currently all adjusted (hopefully correctly) in lets where a bit tight, exhaust seemed all good so just left them.

Took the radiator off after faffing about doing the check with it on and moved out the way. Reason I took the radiator off was the coolant was rotten and also the radiator needed a good clean out.

Think im going to also put back on the standard mud guard as the highlevel one I have a bought for off roading which I just don't have time to do

ill keep yous posted if it all goes well or not.
