fuel level sensor unit, picture please

on this site of the globe, winter is coming and so time for some maintenance. i replaced the fuel sensor level unit with a other yamaha bike because my fuel pump didn't had one (damaged bike). it still doesn't work and i will do some tests this winter to find out why.

i am curious if someone has a picture of the original fuel level sender unit, attached to the fuel pump of a Tenere 2008-1013. there are several models on the market, with or without a floating sensor. or anyone who replaced this part for a aftermarket one. (not the pump, only the fuel level sender unit)

i want to give her some TLC this winter

where to find a new fuel sending unit or thermistor???

did a massive search on the web but can't find any thermistors who will fit the spec's we need for the xtz. mine measures 2.4 resistance and no matter what i do, the fuel gauge stay's blinking. all the wires from sending unit to dashboard are okay, have measured them.
anyone any tips????? even tried spare sending units from other yamaha bikes, been to a electro store and so on.
Yamaha will only sell a complete pump, grrrrrrrrrr
