Just returned from short trip out of the city being towed by a car...on rope
Clutch gave up all of the sudden, the lever got stiff immediately and
adjusting didn't helped much. I could slowly ride for few km but any hill was out of the question. I am really disappointed because the bike is new, 1500km (900 miles) on the clock,
just back from the first maintenance service and clutch is gone when I didn't even start to ride seriously offroad what kinda plates yamaha puts in, from paper?

What do you think, stock clutch is really that bad or I had bad luck?
I understand repair will be under warranty but should I put better clutch
maybe right away since I'm planning dirt, sand riding?

p.s.
BTW being towed by a car on rope connected on both sides with hooks
is something I don't want to repeat anymore. I do not recommend this, by the book you should have loose end on your side ready to drop anytime.
