Me too....I hovered over the place bid button. ...just as well or I would have been bidding against my friend Jacque! , hopefully he will report back on how comfy the seat is. Steve

Thanks guys for not pushing me over the edge. I did the sheepskin thing and its better but I will need much much better for very long days in the saddle next year (on my 3 weeks trip). I promise to give you my feedback once I've used it. I am still concerned about the dip and would have preferred the higher straight one, but beggars can't be choosers. Hopefully next weekend for a trial if it comes in time. Must meet up for another ride at Loomies before the real winter hits us.

Incidently, I phoned the upholsterers in Kent who did Andy's nice flattened conversion. They quoted me �280 to convert my stock seat. Ouch.

Well finally, a quick half n hour on the TT standard seat. And first impressions very positive. I was aprihensive about the standard TT and thought the high one would make moving forward and backwards much easier, always good on long rides, as the stock seat locks you in one place. Well this one gives you a bit more movement but the big plus is the back is wider and the cutout further back, so quite impressed so far. It also seems firmer than the stock seat. I can't wait to take it for a good 2 hour session to really find if its that much better. I promise to give you my impressions soon. I am 6ft but gangly skinny legs and boney bum, not good for long miles.
