Weird rear brake HELP please
Hi Folks, hope one of you can help me. My rear brake pulsates when I'm stopping. I've checked the disc and it seems to be straight, couldn't get it off the wheel as the bolts are solid. The bike is only 2 years old !! I've changed the pads, albeit for the same make / specification and it still plays up. As I slow down for traffic lights or use the rear brake for slow manoeuvring off road it's like the brake is grabbing and letting go, then grabbing again. And no, I don't have ABS. Thoughts please chaps.

I had this problem. Check the tyre pressures I had 14 psi on on the front. Should be around :33psi. Check up on that pressure

you need to do a run out test on the disc, sounds like it's warped. If it is etablish the cause before fitting a new one

I was doing the funky chicken with mine. Still feel it a bit but by using front and back brake alternately it seems to have eased the problem. Not sure if that makes sense. Friday night and 5 pints and a few glasses of wine.
All I can say is in my limited exp these bikes are diff. Heavier and temperamental I've had to change my ridding style and to be able to flick her about I need to be close to the tank as possible. I then feel I'm like on one of my old mountain bikes n can flick her all over Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Check for knackerd wheel bearings, and wax polish patches on the disc. should be easy to narrow down to the cause. I assume it does it using rear brake only?
