The Tenere is not growing it's me shrinking.

Sorry folks I had to do it, being nearer to 70 than 60 my trusty Tenere was getting a bit top heavy for me. It is 5years old and 15,000 miles and still looks almost new even though it's been used in the winter covered in ACF50. It's been 100% reliable only had service items including cush drive rubbers and 2 inconvenient punctures. I got my brand new Moto guzzi V7 11 Stone today. On the spec sheets it's about 15 ks lighter and I can get both feet flat on the floor and the centre gravity feels really low. If it is as reliable as the Tenere I'll be well chuffed. I have really enjoyed the Tenere and this forum, I have not posted much but read new posts almost daily.
Steve.

Good luck with your new Guzzi, Steve. I understand what you're saying - I wonder when my Tenere will start to feel the same as yours! Mid-60s creeping closer...

Still it will do for the time being. Anyway, there's nothing else I want/can fit on comfortably.

Hope you get everything you need from the 'little' Guzzi.

Thanks for the replies, one week and 800miles on the new Guzzi V7 11 and I have just got to tell someone about it and I know you are good listeners. I can paddle it back out of my garage and around the wife's car with ease, and has been comfy for 200 miles with a couple of stops, there is no screen and therefore no buffeting. It does 200 miles before the low fuel light comes on and about 60 mpg. It has a sweet spot at 4,500 rpm/65mph in 6th gear and the wind blast ok. At low revs and small throttle openings it's a bit lumpy but with just a wiff more throttle it smooths and will pull without complaint from 30 mph in 5th gear.
Thanks for listening Steve.
