Best paint for plastic panels.?

Hi, what paint do you guy's recommend to paint the front mudguard and upper crash panel with. ? As friend jo75 has done...I thought I would post the question as others maybe interested. ..Steve

It's quite a thankless task... Here's what I did:

Thoroughly wash the plastics in soapy water.
Dry.
Soak in paraffin.
Wash them again.
Dry.
Plasti-kote primer.
12 hour dry.
Plasti-kote colour (black for me).
12 hour dry.
Another coat of colour.
12 hour dry.
ACF-50 coat

Turned out ok, it has rubbed off in places but mostly intact after 15,000 miles.

I re-did some of it in orange recently.

You got it Steve, I rubbed mine down,plastic filler primer,then rubbed down again,repeat until smooth,then paint several coats,mine hasn't moved yet,only where I have gouged it myself,partly due to being heavy handed!...

Are there any aftermarket plastics manufacturer that makes 660 Tenere plastics in different colours... ?

You can get all the grey plastics replaced in black from Yamaha since the 2015 model. Think a full set is about �230 though.
