Red face Yamaha handguards....?

Hi there! I have a question to ask about Yamaha handguards to mount on the XTR, bought a used set with all the gadgets ... / what I wonder about is / you must then remove the bar end and mount the one from the kit.... but these screws seem to be too "long" ..... when I mounted them there as they hit "bottoms" and pushes out the bar end...

Think I'll go out and buy a little shorter screw / because then i will be able to mount the original bar end...

(Or am I way off completely ...?)

Someone who happens to have the installation manual for these ...?
(Yamaha handguards)

All the best!

Sorry I have no experience with them, but would say if the bolt seems to long & is a genuine Yamaha part maybe something's missing?
Have you 'Goggled' an image of Yamaha hand guards to see the finished thing?
Sorry couldn't be more help.

Hello and thanks for the reply, yes I have been looking on the net. And all included in the kit are together and I miss nothing ....? It's realy strange ... Hmm/ I must be missing something / trying to find an assembly manual for the hand guards.

Keep well and cheers!
