Talking Hi From Moggy in Telford

Hi I've been on the forum for some time but parked my XT660Z up for 2 years due to spine injury.

Been bolted back together and up an running again.

I had a Motopodd Sidecar fitted for a few months to the XT660Z.

Its time to take take the Sidecar and go Solo Again.

Getting an Aluminium box on a rope to put in my Tank Bag so I can get my leg over and pull it up and back into Tank Bag.

Welcome back, Moggy. Did the Ten pull the car easily?

and to

First time since we've started this forum way way back in 2004 that I've seen a side car fitted to an XT, and you know what? I think it's very cool.

Congratulations and get well soon

Yes, one hell of a lot better than expected.

Just had to hold throttle open longer and harder in second gear before change up.

If you used the solo style throttle in second you got a slight tank slapper. Compensate by turning handle bars away from side car just before opening throttle and it went straight.

Killed a few kerbs with the side car wheel and frightened a pedestrian or two before getting width right. The pedestrians saw the XT but not the sidecar.

You can carry a lot of Beer in the sidecar.
