Be aware that if you are downloading PCIII maps then they have a different format and file extension and will not directly load to the PCV software.

PCIII = .djm
PCV = .pvm

Simply double clicking on the file icon of a PCV map (with the .pvm file extension) will open the PCV software installed on your computer automatically and display the map.

You can open a PCIII map in the PCV software, but you have to go about it slightly differently...

Open your PCV software first. Then in the PCV software, go to "File" and then "Import PC3USB Map", then select the PC3 map (.djm file extension) that you want to use. Once it has loaded, you can save it as a PCV map (.pvm extension).
