You might not be able to make use of the spring sunshine for riding, but at it'll make working on your bike outside more comfortable!

How long have you got to wait for the intake joint to arrive - I assume that's what you're waiting for?

Looks like a good time to do the valves if they need doing.

Take a quick look at your forward wiring loom.

Any places where it might rub against the tank, or the cable ties are too tight, you should wrap with something more sturdy.

My tank's coming off on Thursday for valve clearances, and I'll be wrapping bits of the loom in off cuts from an old camping roll mat, just to be sure.

Thanks WeaveMcquilt..good advice there,i have done the points under the seat where it rubs and slowly working forward checking as i go,never had a problem with my rectifier plug but have cleaned it and made a nifty rubber boot for it just for a bit of extra protection..
