exhausts with silencers on. Is it worth it?

you know what I mean, Thinking of finally fitting some used Acrapovic or Termignoni cans on my 07X.
The question is: As long as I don't like being the noisy neighbor, will I see any difference having them with silencers on?
If they are going to run as my standard cans this way, I won't waste my money.
Tell me what you think.

I seem to remember Kev ran an otherwise standard bike with Carbon Cans only and got a 2hp increase in power. Then there's the weight saving, lack of catalysts, the improved aesthetics and the more fruity soundtrack. Looks and sound of course are all personal taste though.

IMHO, I'd say it is worth it, but it isn't a cheapest mod/way to get extra horsepower. Modifying the airbox, filters and fuelling gives you more hp/euro spent.

I found the dyno results for the Carbon Cans only, it was +2.2hp. Read this thread...
