Greetings from Auckland, New Zealand
Hi all, I have owned my 2013 Tenere for 6 months now having purchased it at 4000kms. It now has nearly 10,000kms on the clock from weekend rides and adventures with a local group in Auckland New Zealand called the Northern Gravel Adventure Riders. The Tenere is a big step up in weight and comfort from my previous adventure bikes which included two Suzuki DR350's and most recently a DRZ400e (road legal). I chose the Tenere for a number of reasons not the least was it's design, I think it just shouts "Adventure!". Overall I'm really happy with my choice, it's a really great bike and a pleasure to ride. Improvements to date include: Metzler Karoo 3's, Acerbis Maguire bars, Zeta hand guards, OTR soapdish headlight protector, Touratech tail rack, Pivotpegz, Touratech frame guards, Yamaha centre stand. I've also bought but yet to fit poly cush drive rubbers purchased from Andy Ross. I regularly log in to the forum to get others experiences and for a bit of inspiration. Cheers all.
