What are Goggles like in winter?

I've been looking into a Motorcross lid to replace the crap lid i have now.

What i'd like to know is how the goggles behave in winter? i'm more concerned about fogging and letting rain in?

My current lid is the worst i've ever owned for fogging, leaking, and on occasion freezing inside the visor. for winter use it is the most dangerous helmet i have ever seen.

Rubbish! (IMO)

I could go into a whole list of reasons. However, I'll cut to the chase... Just bite the bullet and buy yourself a decent full face (adventure style if you like) lid with a Pinlock visor insert. You know it makes sense...

I haven't had any experience with Goggles , but I have with fogging. In the days of riding around Kent in all weathers & conditions I found that a drop or 2 of dish washing liquid wiped on the inside of your visor with a paper towel stopped it fogging up. (That was a full face type).

Pinlock is the way to go - you'll never have to worry about visor fogging up again.

Goggles fog but usually from the heat of your face. All weather riding go full face with visor insert.

The washing up liquid trick works but you have to do it every day
