Tweaking the pannier frames from my XT660Z

I wanted to re-use the panniers I already had for my 660 on my 1200.

The panniers themselves are different between the 660 and 1200, and yes I know they are symmetric and not asymmetric - which is why I couldn't simply buy the Yamaha frame/mounts for the 1200.

Some spacers, stainless steel bolts and a simple bar mounted off the grab rails was straightforward.

Careful measurement and the services of a plasma cutter to custom make the bottom mount behind the footrest finished the job.

The left hand pannier sits about 2cm from the exhaust, and there is enough room behind the right hand side to fit a tool tube.

Quite pleased with my home made mounts :-)
