Broken Tacho/Rev counter needle
Just wondering if anybody has seen or heard of a broken Tacho/rev counter needle. Mine decided to fall off today and sit at the bottom of the cluster.

It's an old thread, but here goes. When revving it freely the needle sometimes remains up, so at iddle it would show 4k, 6k or something random. It seems like the needle is a bit loose.
I took the headlight and the plastics down in an atempt to open the dash, but I'm stuck as I need a super small star type key for it. Will go and buy a set and try again this evening, but meanwhile if anybody has done this, drop some winsdom upon us |

No success
After pulling the 5 torx screws (T3 or T4) I couldn't open the speedo without damaging it. It looks like it's glued together. Oh well, putting it back and living with it.. |

Hey mate, it has been an issue on some Tenere's. There was a post somewhere on here about opening the speedo up but sorry I can't seem to find it but as you have found out it is almost impossible. Found this though so you don't feel so alone with it..
