I've just purchased an XT660Z. Lovely to ride, real nice riding position.
I'll be scoring the forum for any advise on tyres as mine are in need of replacement.

I owned a DR a few years ago and i was always the one down the back of the pack holding everyone up, slipping and sliding and usually falling off.
Being a real novice rookie when it comes to off road / dirt / green laning, If there are any patient local (Haslemere Surrey) XT owners that might have the time to give a few hints and tips on the rough stuff, I there.
A big trip abroad is on the cards and i'd rather learn a little here where the A and E is near by :-)
