Found this guy on ADVrider who makes stainless steel foot-pegs for the XT660R. He is from Czech Republic and ships world wide for a fair price.

Initially made for his old XTZ600, but now also makes them for other models.

Interesting. I'm looking for pegs too for an XTZ. Had bookmarked a load from china on eBay to take a closer look at, but these look good.

So, the �70 question is, are XT660R and XT660Z foot peg mounts the same?

I payed same price. Fit is great on the XT660R. Construction is very similar to my old cheap Asian iron foot pegs (designed for various motocross models), but much better quality.
He also offers models in black powder coated steel.

His English isn't the best, but he is very service minded and posted the parcel (tracked) same day as payment.
