hi all

hi all would like to do some mods to my xt660z .
have all ready got pipes and dna stage 3,pcv but would like to change forks to usd but would like to know which will fit and if anyone has done this .I would like to keep the twin disc set up is there a yamaha set up this would if?

I recommend you buy our Mod's Encyclopedia, what's not in that book is not worth knowing, you can purchase one at this link: http://www.xt660.com/site/node/325

Welcome on board Keith.

Loads of options for USD forks out there - CR, YZ, WR, WP/KTM, KLX... The list is endless, just about anything can be "made" to fit. Have a search of the site and see what tickles your fancy. Mind you, I don't recall ever seeing one done with a twin disc setup? It'll be possible (KTM950/990 Adv forks for example), but will seriously restrict your choice/options for donor forks, as almost all the secondhand forks for sale are for single disc.
