Oi oi!

So, introduction time...

I picked up my lovely new grey tenere yesterday afternoon, and already know that I made the right choice! First time I saw one, I knew that it was the bike for me. I passed my test last year and took a few bikes out for test rides, though the tenere blew me away!

I kept my trusty 125 Varadero over winter, and waited patiently until I'd finished everything for uni (mature student, well, kinda...) before taking the plunge. This is my first 'big' bike, only done 50 miles so far on the new toy, though loved every minute! Even had my first ever experience of off road riding... what a blast! Any basic tips, or the locations of any trails/green lanes around London would be greatly appreciated!

I've got plenty of upgrades and mods in mind, so will no doubt be yelling for advice sometime soon.... I got it with a centre stand and black panniers, though the rest is up to me!

I've got a trip to Portugal lined up for summer.... 2-up with my girlfriend heading to a festival so need to be pretty well fitted out by then! Will be lugging camping gear and everything else!

I've got big plans for this bike... will be setting off for a few years travelling on it as soon as I get some savings together again! The way I see it, I've got about 18months to get the Tenere the way I want it, and to get to know it inside out before ******ing off on it!

I've had a good look round the site over the last couple of weeks and you seem to be a friendly bunch... I think I might just stick around!
