Hi all. XTz Scotland

Hi everyone. I've been a long time lurker, but just recently registered and thought I'd say Hi.

I'm just about to buy an 11reg xt660z for a bit of commuting, bit of trail work and some forrestry track blasting around Scotland, and perhaps beyond.

I've come from an enduro background, not racing, but overland in the remote hills of Argyll in Scotland. I've had both the Ktm exc 2t 300 & the 4t 525, so used to a wee bit of grunt to get over some at times tough terrain.

I've been considering an xtz for a while now, but as I'm only 175cm tall had a sneaky suspicion that it might be too tall for me. I tried one on for size a few days ago, and was relieved to find I can get the balls of both feet down, so no lowering required hopefully .

I'll get some decent pictures up of the beast when it arrives, and no doubt will get straight on to the Kev mod's required to get the most out of the stock engine.

Tbc........
