First ride on a motorbike was a Maserati, way back in 1978.

First bicycle was a few years before that, sadly no pictures available!

The first bike I ever rode was an RD400 after convincing the owner that I had
indeed ridden motorcycles before (I hadn't), but I rode off with enough confidence
not to arouse his suspicion ;-) Then a few weeks later I went pillion on my cousin's
Laverda Jota - and that was it, I was hooked for life. A few weeks later again I had
my first bike, a Honda C50. I took the leg shields off the C50, took the sleeves off
my levi jacket, and that was it, I had arrived

Sorry but again, no pics. My maiden flight was on a Puch maxiin 1978. Then got a Honda C50. Was stopped by the boys in blue at the end of my drive at the tender age of 12. For some barmy reason they gave me 3 penalty points and these had of course run out by the time I applied for a license. Around the same time I bought a Honda CD175 from my farm labouring savings (50 ). When I turned 16 I got a Kawasaki AE50 and have never been without a bike since ... Happy days

One of my first introductions for motorcycles, I could not believe how fast it compared to my bicycle aged 10. http://image.made-in-china.com/2f0j00NMfaQPIWalkB/Velosolex-Moped-3800-.jpg

This was my first bike age 15. http://www.rhuss.cncfamily.com/65suzuki2a.jpg

I am now on bike 46.

Mine was a CBR125RR, fantastic first bike, althought it could be accused of all show and no go being a 125.

It got me hooked and I've not looked back since.

Blagged a shot of my mates Suzuki GSF600 when he brought it to me to get the exhaust welded.

He was running alongside me in case I dropped it....like he was gonna catch me AND the bike!!!

Next up was as a pillion on a high speed run on a Blade

1st bike owned was a ZZR600

First bike I owned was a 1981 Fantic 240 Trial, which I got for my 13th birthday in 1982. I have got photos of me with the Fantic, but my Dad (and me) only ever took 35mm slides through most of the 80s. I've never got round to getting one of those slide-scanner thingamy-jigs for the PC.

The oldest actual photo, which I have got of me and a bike is from 1989 when I was puppy-faced 20 year old. My girlfriend at the time was a photography student and only shot in black and white, which suits the bike, a 1963 350cc Triumph 3TA fitted with a 500cc T100 motor by my good self. It was the first of a long line of British bikes I've had.

Smile

mine was a brand new Yamaha wr125x which i had for 14 months and covered 13500 miles on it even did the wynrose pass with it (about 450 mile round trip from here) then i sold it for my xt660x after i got my full licence (literally 3 days before the law changed over here with limited licenses (96bhp and the power to weight would of made me unable to ride the xt as it was above the limit so i was pretty lucky really) anyway ive owned my 2009 xt660x (bought with 10000 on the clock) for about a year 2 this day and absolutely love it now has 17500 on i think NEED to do more riding this year lol
