Booming noise after DNA filters installed

Hi Folks,
Been running the kev O2 and fuel mod for 2 weeks now. They've made the bike feel much better. Today installed the dna filters Stage2 (with a stage 3 air flow). The kev mod set just past 6 O'clock. There is a booming type sound coming from the bike , doesn't seem to be the exhaust (stock). Seems to be coming from the airbox. Only noticeable on the move. Is this normal?

Apologies if this has been covered before. This bike carry on is all new to me.

Booming? Like a backfire? Is it not just induction roar that you can now hear due to the box being more open?

It's not a backfire, it's in sync with the 'throb' of the engine under acceleration. Probably is induction noise as you say. Sounds crap. Ill try the bike with the filter removed and stock cover back on.

Perfectly normal, the bike has a larger set of lungs now and it's breathing louder. You'll forget about it in a couple of days, as it becomes the new "tune" to accompaign your rides Enjoy and relax

Blocking off the AIS pipe will reduce the intake noise.

First commute into work this morning with the filters on and noise off the engine during acceleration and engine braking is being amplified by the airbox as its more open. Its got that plastic type booming noise , if that makes sense.

Not sure if I'll get used to it as it sounds unpleasant. Is it possible to line the air box to deaden this sound. Apologies if that's a daft question ;-)

Bike feels great though.

Might seem a daft question, but... Do you wear earplugs when you ride?

If you don't, you should, and a good set designed for specifically for motorcyle will make a big difference to those irritating noises you get when riding, like wind turbulance, induction roar (and whining cam chains for those who ride a triumph! )

No earplugs at the minute, need to look into it as wind noise is shocking . My head seems to sit in a perfect position to catch wind of top of screen and front of tank.
