            Stalling issues!

             Hi guys,
I was riding the ring of red today for remembrance Sunday and my bike stalled when I pulled the clutch in at about 10 mph after about 20mins of constant riding! It started straight back up, I was just wondering if my bike was to stall at say a higher speed and I didn't grab the clutch in straight away what would happen? Would I go flying? Bit worried? Sorry if this is in the wrong section. |

             Hi there,
There was few threads on the forum about this issue... Probably: a) idle speed too low; b) wrong A/F ratio (thats what I was told recently by dealer??) Anyway, it happens to me occasionally, but never on high speed changing gears, always at slow speed clutch engaged & throttle shut etc. |

            +1
Raise it to (or make sure it is) close to 1500 rpm on a hot engine. Also treat the bike to a fresh new plug. |

As above....mine used to do that until I upped the idle...not an issue any more.
