XT660Z Tenere Rear Spring

Owning a 2008 Tenere, and after 40,000km something seems not to work properly in the rear absortion system.
Had it a service done (oil change etc) but the problem is there.
Most Tenere owners in my country change the spring an about 30,000km. In your country?

Anyway, I have been looking for a spring and I have found in the same price (90) a HYPERPRO(non-linear) and a OHLINS(linear).
Considering that I use my tenere for everyday tasks, tourism and offroad driving which one is the best choice?

(I had read that non-linear is the best choise for tourism but not for dirt bikes, I'm confused )

p.s. do I have to change to a different oil in the suspention?
