I De-Catted mine a year ago and am just getting round to fitting the fuel mod now along with the DNA filter, my plug colour is fine and I gained a little bit more low down flexibility after the De-Cat, not noticed any mpg difference to be honest.
Regards,
Jim.

Firstly welcome to the forum.

The cat will have very little affect on the A/F ratio on these 660's

Thanks for the welcom, but you have just done yourself out of a sale!
I will buy the fuel mod when I get around to doing the snorkel and filter.
Cheers Ben

de-catting the pipe improved my MPG! i have de-catted mine and drilled the box open, plus a filter and fuel mod and still get 60 mpg. actually its gone up a bit to 66mpg recently. 35 000 miles on the clock

Hi I cut the cat out of mine & found a huge differents in performance,
I used to run a single MTC can but found it far to noisy & could not get rid of the
Back firing popping, I have stage 1,2&3 with Kev mod & eliminator, bike runs so
sweet now, smooth no popping & plenty of grunt, really glad I made a decision to remove
the cat as I was finding it hard to gel with the Ten.

Am l reading too much into this or did you just dish Kev on your second post?
Talk like that will not get you far in this world and especially not in a dedicated forum GIVEN to us by VERY DEDICATED Mods.
Careful with your exclamation marks!

I don't think any malice was meant - I didn't read it as such.

It was ment to be a joke, and l have since bought a fuel mod, which I am very happy with.
I would never diss kev, without technical knowhow this site would be a poorer place.
Hope this clears up any misunderstanding
Cheers ben

Redbikejohn. I have read your "manual" on how to decat the Tenere and would like to know How important is it to drill the additional holes?. I am mainly looking for weight savings and a little better sound without being loud.

Thanks
