Tenere as Courier?

So the job hunt is proving so fruitless that I'm now considering getting work as a motorbike courier (in Sydney). I reckon she'd be an excellent bike for the job, and at least I'd get to ride HEAPS. I've got a question, but I'd welcome any comments, suggestions and advice in general.

Anyway, my main question is:

Can anyone recommend a suitable tox box option? I'm thinking Metal Mule so far, but what could be better? Obviously needs to be pretty tough, water/burglar proof & largish I suppose.

I guess I'll have to invest in a decent GPS too (doubt the Garmin eTrex would be up to the street by street navigation), plus one of those lockable brackets (Touratech?).

Wotchyasreckon?

XT660R is the most common courier bike in Stockholm. The Tenere will serve you well.

We have a member (who will be along shortly I'm sure) who has tried his utmost to 'courier a Tenere' to death.

if your a courier a big cheap plastic top box would do. no point spending big on a metal top box as they are normally small and don't actually hold much

Looks like you're right on the money Maxwell. I had an interview with them today & they reckoned I'd need something around 60lt, preferably lockable. The MM one is only half that. I've got a flat rack that it could bolt onto, just got to find something now I guess.

Ok, I'm gravitating towards the Givi E55 Tech top box (with brake lights linked up). It'll make the bike way more useful as a general hack bike too,
although I obviously wouldn't want to use it off road.

Any thoughts? I'd especially appreciate any suggestions as to cheap sellers near Sydney.
