Hello all , New to site

Firstly I'd like to introduce myself to this site and secondly I have a problem with my newly aquired 2011 tenere.
My name Is Heath and i have just purchased a second hand 2011 tenere. The bike is perfect apart from a realy jerky throttle response in low gears which is unsettling on tight corners .I have done some research and found that the Kev Mod might solve the problem. Any advice would be well appreciated.
I also live in QLD australia which i think is the same state that Kev is from. How can i contact kev?
regards
Heath

Hello all , New to site

Welcome aboard Heath.

Could very well be shagged cush drive rubbers and a slack/ worn chain that are causing your problems. Check that first as the fuelling really isn't that bad in the Tenere.

You have already contacted me by email with the same request, and I have immediately replied to you in copy to Kev saying that he will reply to you shortly.

Kev then replied to you within 1 hour from my message and in case you are not reading your emails, here is Kev's reply to you:

Hi there

I would recommend to fit 2 mods, a Fuel mod + an O2 controller with both of these mods you will have a much smoother ride as you will be correcting the A/F ratio in both the open & closed loop circuits, I have had a 100% positive response from happy riders using these mods for their surging problems . I can combine postage for both the total if bought directly from me via PayPal would be $168.00 for local Oz postage, I have stock of both & can post next business day.

You can read up on the O2 controller here. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/130866704114?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p39 84.m1555.l2649

My fuel mod has been around for a while now, I would recommend you search the extensive threads on the subject (kev fuel mod) www.xt660.com

One other mod I would do is my twist grip mod which will allow better throttle control at small throttle openings.

If you have any questions please feel free to ask me.

Cheers
Kev
