Check all bulbs and fuses most are linked together. Does your horn and highbeam work? If not may be a dodgy connection from your switchgear, i had same problem chased the wires back under the left hand side of the fuel tank and had a loose connection block thingy.

Check wiring pal. Mine started with just the indicators then everything else went that was connected to the left hand side of the bike. This is just my experience i dont meen to send you in the wrong direction.

Recently bought my xtr with a warranty.
It had a problem with the indicators on the test run but was fixed by the time I picked it up.
The fault re-occurred quickly.
Took it back to book it in for a repair (and a wheel bearing) booked it in for the next week but had a chat with the techy.
We had a quick look and found the hazards and the N/S worked fine when the ignition was first switched on but they all stopped s soon as the O/S was switched.
I was told it was a fail-safe system in the electronics probably caused by a poor/loose connection.
I had a poke around at home, cleaned and re tightened all the connections to the lamp holders and found everything working.
BUT I was not convinced it was connections. I took out a rear bulb to simulate a fault.
Everything worked as expected with the front flashing faster.
I then tried pulling off a connection. Still worked the same without engaging the fail-safe.
I came to the conclusion it must either be a short circuit somewhere in the loom or a faulty flasher unit.
However it hasnt happened again.
When I took it back for the bearing doing I told them not to waste our time by searching for an intermittent fault till it happened again. So far after a few hundred miles (a bit cold and snowy to do much more lately) it sill hasnt reoccurred.

In short
Clean and tighten (close up) the connectors behind the bulb holders.
Waddle the wires.
Kick the tyres
And squirt it with WD40

Worked for me
