Digital Thermometer from LIDL

Maybe somebody will be interested...

http://www.lidl.co.uk/cps/rde/xchg/l...ndex_38516.htm

I know its not for external use, but cheap as chips!
Also has got in/out temp and 3m cable which might be very useful on bike :woohoo:

Anyway looks like not bad option for the bikes without thermometer....

I had one of those until it got wet and failed :-(

Amusingly the internal and external temperatures were always different!

I fitted an aquarium thermometer to the GS. Totally waterproof, as designed to be kept under water, and mounted to the bars fine with a bit of ingenuity and two cable ties. Only drawback was that there was no facility for illumination, but at 3.45 who cares!

eBay search for 'submersible digital thermometer'.

Having said that, it was on the GS when I sold it, and I won't be replacing it. This time of year, most of my miles are in the dark, so just when you need it most you can't see it.

I like that pic....is that just a normal digital camera you have mounted? where did you get that mount from?? (i take it that it just screws into the tri-pod mount on the bottom of the camera?)

Camera is an Olympus Tough (waterproof and shockproof).

Mount is a flexi tripod simply cable tied to the frame. Not sure where I bought it - probably Jessops :-)

I have shot video and stills while riding quite successfully.
