My neighbour had his bike stolen this evening. It had been for sale and posted in several places on the internet. Someone interested in the bike phoned him today to arrange a viewing and asked for directions but never showed up.

This evening the garage was broken into with some heavy duty kit and his locked down �4k bike stolen. The photos he'd posted on the ads gave a good clue as to which garage it was stored in.

If you're posting photos of the bike along with the for sale ad consider taking them somewhere other than right outside where you keep the bike, especially if it's a lock-up or set of garages where it's parked.

Also give some close consideration as to who you hand out your details to when arranging a viewing or give them directions to somewhere close by, ask them to call from there and give them the final directions at the time.
